And of course I have to take a stab at what this scene would have looked like. I tried to mess around with color a bit here but I failed pretty hard at it.

Unless there are fans that hate Spike with a passion, and I'm sure there are, I think if Twilight ever did do this, she would become that most hated character in the show. Which would be a really bad mix since she's the main focus.
